Managing Director USA & Canadá

POSITION OBJECTIVE

To lead the comprehensive management of the organization’s operations in the USA and Canada, ensuring strategic growth, operational excellence, and financial performance. The role focuses on driving commercial success, developing new business opportunities, and ensuring alignment with corporate objectives in multicultural and international markets.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Leadership and General Management:

  • Oversee all aspects of the company’s operations in the US and Canadian markets.
  • Serve as a key liaison between the company and the CEO, General Manager, and Board of Directors.
  • Direct and ensure the growth of business units, including Worldcom, Contents, Smart Alliance, and TDT in the USA.
  • Take full responsibility for the company’s Profit and Loss (P&L) performance in the US and Canadian markets.
  • Coordinate and align operations across the USA and Canada to meet corporate objectives.

Commercial and Business Development:

  • Drive the promotion and management of existing and potential business opportunities in multicultural and international markets within the USA and Canada.
  • Manage and grow relationships with current clients while identifying and developing new client opportunities.
    • Lead the exploration and development of new business areas to expand the company’s footprint.
    • Execute strategies developed by General Management and adapt them for the regional market.

Operational and Financial Management:

  • Monitor and control commercial objectives aligned with the team’s budget and strategic goals.
  • Oversee compliance with formal processes, ensuring operational efficiency.
  • Analyze and review business profitability, ensuring optimal outcomes for the company.
  • Develop comprehensive planning tools to enhance operational effectiveness.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Motivate, support, and guide team members to achieve their full potential, fostering professionalism and dedication.
  • Ensure proper execution and control of campaigns and projects in the region.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement across all teams.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field. A Master’s degree (MBA) is preferred.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 10 years of experience in senior management roles, with a focus on international and multicultural markets.
    • Proven track record in business development and P&L management.
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools.
    • Knowledge of financial and operational planning tools.
  • Languages: Fluent in English. Spanish is a strong asset.
  • Availability: Willingness to travel as needed and adapt to flexible working hours.
